The mixed-media exhibit features porcelain sculpture vignettes focusing on American History, the Midwest as frontier and story-telling as the means to create personal and cultural identity as well as live musical and theatrical elements by local and national performers.

For a grand finale, Manifest Destiny will culminate with three ticketed performances by Denver Broncos UK on Friday 9/28, Saturday 9/29 and Sunday 9/30.

Sept. 15: Victor & Penny

Victor & Penny is a KC and Chicago born duo performing “Antique Pop” on ukulele and guitar.  With characteristic charm and good humor they bring a fresh perspective to music of the early 20th century, unique arrangements of modern tunes as well as clever original songs. Woven into the tapestry of the Manifest Destiny installation their music furthers the sense of timelessness in the exhibit, presenting music both contemporary and nostalgic. Jeff Freling hails from the Chicago Blue Man Group and attended Berklee School of Music; and Erin McGrane from the cabaret group Alacartoona and George Clooney’s, “Up In The Air”.

Saturday 9 15, from 12 – 5 pm
